There is a New Version of Microsoft Office on the Horizon set to launch in the first half of next year. Cant wait till then well get your hands on the Public Beta Release announced at the PDC Conference this week.

I haven't myself had the chance to install it yet; but as soon as I find some spare time Ill have a play and let us know how its going.

In the meantime goto http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010/en/default.aspx to get yourself a copy.

Remember that the Beta will be time limited the same as Windows 7 and should not really be installed on your main computer; or with a previous version of Office still on the system.

It looks like Microsoft is taking the same approach to the testing this time around with Office 2010 that they did with Windows 7; so with luck we should get another polished quality product.
